Past is in the Past

Recently, I have been struggling with decisions I have made in the past. They have been weighing down on my shoulders and I am finding it difficult to cope with it. I came across some quotes while I was on Pinterest that really helped me. It is important to remember that the past is unchangeable and everything happens for a reason. Every decision has led me to where I am today. I can't change anything and my decisions have only made me more knowledgable and smarter. I am now recognizing I can use my past decisions of "what not to do" and help them make me a better person.

Is Tumblr Related to Depression?

I found an article on TeenVogue.com that has new research that tumblr and depression is actually linked. Not that tumblr causes depression, but it is where many young users post and discuss depression and suicide. Tumblr allows people to show their true self, hidden by a username. This allows them to be expressive. But on the bright side, researchers notice that Tumblr is one of the best areas to express your pain. Tumblr allows people to talk about their problems and have reassurance without face-to-face contact. Tumblr is helping people connect, even if this means touchy subjects such as depression. I find it very interesting that social networking is growing more and more each day. It is helping make the world a better place. Tree Adventures

I came across something amazing. A pathway in the air, through the forest. Architect Tetsuo Kondo put in a temporary installation in the Kadriorg Park near Tallinn, Estonia. Kardiorg Park is an urban forest, only 15-minutes' walk from the Old City of Tallinn. While it has some intact treed areas, it is mostly an urban park of man-made structures and tended gardens. Kondo created a 95-meter (311-foot) suspended walkway among some of the park's 300 year-old trees. This is truly amazing and shows how far advanced technology is becoming.

New York State of Mind

It has always been my dream to live in NYC. I think it is one of the most important and amazing cities in the entire world. The amount of opportunities the city holds is unreal. New York is the perfect city. From amazing food to amazing buildings, it has it all. It is my ultimate goal to work in New York next summer. I will keep following my dreams until it becomes a reality.
